I am a 6'8" Vegan music nut that enjoys playing Ultimate and Baldur's Gate (the fusion of athlete and nerd) in his free time.
I am a fun-loving admirer of unique, passionate, and meaningful music; passionate does not necessarily meaning whining sad songs lamenting unrequited love and the like, nor does meaningful just refer to music that was created in the wake of a moment that espoused the proliferation of a cause (political, social, spiritual) or created to serve a purpose. I simply imply that I throughly enjoy the hard work, dedication, and innovation of many talented bands.
I love music in more ways than I could ever hope to count, although I would hope so seeing as I am signing up for a band street team. I play several instruments myself, such as the electric bass, keyboards, classical guitar, tin whistle, dulcimer, and mixed percussion, and I have had some experience with playing in and helping and supporting / hanging around with local bands in Beaver County, Pennsylvania.
Where my affinity toward Fair to Midland is concerned, my exposure and ever-developing interest in them were somewhat of a chance encounter. I was original referred their MySpace profile by a good friend of mine, whom I share many similar musical tastes with. It was later that I went with that same friend to go see Fair to Midland and others at Mr.Small's Funhouse in Millvale, Pennsylvania in June of 2007. Needless to say, I found alot of overwhelming feeling and promise in this awesome band.
